A few years ago, we worked with the National Trust of England, Wales and Northern Ireland to establish a regular column in their magazine. The National Trust Magazine goes to all Trust members three times a year in spring, summer and autumn, and has a circulation of around 2.3 million people. You can find more information at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/magazine.
Each issue now features a column written by an INTO member. Previous editions have featured members in the Czech Republic, Italy and Uganda.
The piece is short (around 200 words) and explains to readers the work of the organisation concerned, why it’s important, the successes it has had and the challenges it faces. It’s meant to be warm and personal.
The last issue of 2018 has just been delivered and includes a column by SK Misra of the Indian Trust for Rural Heritage and Development. Other Trusts featured this year were the National Trust of Anguilla and the National Trust of Western Australia.
