Krásný Dvůr is a large estate that once belonged to the Czernin family and is now in the care of the Czech National Heritage Institute. The estate is famous for its Renaissance Manor and beautiful landscaped gardens, which have been developed over the centuries. Tasks will be varied and include ground clearance, digging, stone restoration and some building work. During the week there will be an excursion to places and historic buildings in the vicinity. No prior skills are required, although participants will need to have a good level of fitness. Age 20+.
Meeting point: Participants will be met at Prague airport on the first day of the holiday.
Accommodation: You’ll stay in a local pension in single or shared ensuite twin-bedded rooms. Lunch and dinner will be at other venues.
