    This is the ninth holiday at Červený Dvůr, a historic estate that was once the summer residence of the Schwarzenberg family and is now a sanatorium. In 2020, participants will be helping to rebuild the two gatehouses at the entrance to the park and laying out walls on the site of a pavilion demolished in the 1970s. During the week there will be the opportunity to visit some of the region’s houses and castles. No prior skills are required, although participants will need to have a good level of fitness. Age 20+.

    Meeting point: Participants can either be met at Prague airport off the afternoon flight from Stansted or in nearby Ceský Krumlov.

    Accommodation: Full board and lodging in twin bedrooms in the stable wing of the Chateau. Bedding and towels provided.

    A £20 deposit secures a place; full balance is payable 2 months before departure.

    These working holidays are run by The Friends of Czech Heritage, a UK-based charity set up twelve years ago to raise awareness of historic buildings, artefacts, gardens and parks in the Czech Republic.
