INTO has been an active advocate for the issues that National Trust face dealing with climate change for many years. Our team has attended most of the COP events since 2009.
Most recently the delegates at the 17th INTO Conference in Bali supported the creation of the Gianyar Declaration by our conference hosts, BPPI (The Indonesian National Trust).
Listen, look, read! Oliver Maurice has done an absolutely outstanding job documenting his time at COP23 – and we feel like we were there right alongside him through his podcasts, photos and articles.
Our members’ experience of a variety of issues from heritage-led urban regeneration to the impacts of manmade climate change on cultural and natural heritage can make a positive contribution and can highlight was is unique and special about the NT approach in order to influence decision makers in all aspects of policy making.
