Dear Amicus member we are pleased to send you this first edition version of the INTO eNews.  This is a special version for our very special AMICUS members only.

We hope that you are pleased with it.

Sincerely,   The INTO team.

THROUGH THE GENEROUS  SUPPORT OF OUR  AMICUS MEMBERS WE WERE ABLE TO LAUNCH OUR SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM IN 2013.

The initial grant was to our member the National Trust of Fiji in support of a series of projects being undertaken by Dutch volunteer.  The programme aims to build the capacity of INTO members and preference is given to projects involving knowledge transfer or best practice development between two or more National Trusts.  This work would not be possible withouit the genersous gifts of our supporters.      The article below provides some information about the next round of grants.

SPECIAL INVITATIONS TO AMICUS MEMBERS:

The English Way in Galicia, September 2014.

Three members of the INTO Executive Committee and Secretariat are turning 70 years old in 2014.  Oliver Maurice has developed a plan in partnership with our Galician member for these three, their friends, spouses, and EC members to walk approximately 130 kms (the English Way) from La Coruna to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia September 15th through the 20th.   The walkers will use this walk as a fundraising opportunity in support of INTO programs.   Special events are being scheduled along the way.    Following the walk the INTO Executive Committee will hold its annual face to face meeting and a public seminar.   AMICUS members are most warmly invited to join us on this walk.   This will be an amazing experience.  For more information email: secretariat@intoorg.org
